Kathy Smith

Kathy is a selfless community servant, volunteering countless hours to benefit others. She is an active member of the Daughters of the American Revolution Star of Destiny Chapter in Katy, recently being awarded Outstanding Junior for 2020.

Currently serving as the Community Classroom Chair,  her focus has been giving teachers time back by volunteering weekly to make copies, update bulletin boards, and organizing a chapter sewing project.

Her biggest accomplishment this year was organizing a mock election bookmark contest where students learned about the voting process, filled in their own ballots, and met local city officials who showed up on election day!

She also served on the Aristoi Classical Academy PTO Board, and was named Volunteer of the Year in 2019.

  • Cane Island Gala benefitting Caring 4 Katy

“Being married to someone who supports my desire to give back to the community has been a huge blessing for our family. I am proud to show our son the importance of serving the community, honoring Veterans, and working together to accomplish goals. Dan’s success in his career has allowed us to do so many things, and I invite you to join me in voting for him in the upcoming election. See you soon!”
